MP Police Physical Chart 2024: Understanding the Selection Process
The MP Police Physical Chart 2024 outlines the updated selection process for the MP Police Recruitment 2024. With new changes implemented this year, the recruitment will now follow a combined evaluation of both the written exam and the physical test, which was not the case in previous years.
Key Changes in MP Police Physical Chart 2024:
Previously, the selection was based solely on the candidate’s performance in the online written exam, with only a basic pass requirement for the physical test. However, in the 2024 recruitment process, both the written exam (100 marks) and the physical test (100 marks) will contribute equally to the final selection list. This means that even if a candidate scores lower in the written exam but excels in the physical test, they can still be selected.

Breakdown of Physical Test Scores:
For Male Candidates applying for the MP Police Constable GD post, the physical proficiency test will include
- Shot put with a weight of 7.26 kg.
- For Female Candidates, the shot put weight will be 4 kg.
- Candidates will have:
- One attempt for the 800-meter run.
- Three attempts each for long jump and shot put.
Minimum Physical Test Requirements:
- All candidates must score at least 30 out of 100 in the physical proficiency test. These marks will be added to their written exam scores to create the final merit list.
Chest Measurements (for male candidates):
- Candidates must inflate their chests by at least 5 cm beyond the minimum required measurement.
Vision Test:
- Candidates must not have any vision disorders.
- Without glasses, their vision must be at least 6/9 in one eye and 6/12 in the other eye.
- They must also be able to distinguish between primary colors, which will be tested using Ishihara plates.
Other Physical Requirements:
- Candidates should not have knock knees or flat feet.
- There should be no physical disabilities.
MP Police Waiting List 2024:
After the final result is announced, a waiting list will be created for around 1,100 positions. Out of the total vacancies:
- 33% will be reserved for women.
- 15% for Home Guards.
- 10% for ex-servicemen.
