SSC Multi Tasking Staff and Havaldar Recruitment Examination Overview
The SSC will conduct a competitive examination for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar posts. These positions fall under the General Central Service Group āCā Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial category. The posts are available in various Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India, as well as in Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals across different States and Union Territories. Specifically, the Havaldar posts are available in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC Multi Tasking Staff and Havaldar Recruitment
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or persons of Indian origin who have migrated from specified countries.
- Age Limit (as of August 1, 2024):
- MTS: 18-25 years (born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2006)
- Havaldar and select MTS posts: 18-27 years (born between August 2, 1997, and August 1, 2006)
Application Process

Application Fee

- Exemptions: Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and ESM candidates eligible for reservation are exempted from the fee.
Scheme of Examination
- MTS: The examination will consist of a Computer-Based Examination (CBE).
- Havaldar: The examination of havaldar all candidates need to pass out Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
SSC Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar Recruitment will be conducted in 13 languages, Hindi and English are the main for this exam. It will be divided into two sessions, each lasting 45 minutes. No re-evaluation of scores will be allowed.

- Chest: 81 cm (minimum expansion of 5 cm)
