- The Tier 1 exam pattern will remains the same as previous year. In SSC CGL Exam, time will be of one-hour paper with 25 questions each in Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English.

Additional positions in this pay level include Inspector of Income Tax in CBDT, Inspector (Central Excise, Preventive Officer, and Examiner) in CBIC, Assistant Enforcement Officer in the Directorate of Enforcement, Sub Inspector in the Central Bureau of Investigation, Inspector Posts in the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, and Inspector in the Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ministry of Finance, all classified as Group “B” or “C” with similar age limits.
- Pay Level-6 (₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400), positions include Assistant/Assistant Section Officer in various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations, Executive Assistant in CBIC, Research Assistant in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Divisional Accountant in offices under C&AG, Sub Inspector in the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Sub-Inspector/Junior Intelligence Officer in the Narcotics Control Bureau (MHA), and Junior Statistical Officer in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, with age limits generally between 18 to 30 years, except for Junior Statistical Officer which is up to 32 years.
- Pay Level-5 (₹ 29200 to 92300) positions include 23 Auditor posts in offices under C&AG, CGDA, and other ministries/departments, as well as 26 Accountant positions in offices under C&AG and the Controller General of Accounts, with an additional category for Accountant/Junior Accountant in other ministries/departments. All these roles fall under Group “C” and have an age range of 18-27 years.
- Pay Level-4 (₹ 25500 to 81100) positions encompass various roles such as Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant in the Department of Posts, Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerks in Central Government Offices/Ministries other than CSCS cadres, and Senior Administrative Assistant in the Military Engineering Services, Ministry of Defence. Additionally, there are Tax Assistant positions in CBDT and CBIC, and a Sub-Inspector position in the Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ministry of Finance.
