The Madhya Pradesh government has issued a new order regarding the recruitment of guest teachers (MP Govt Atithi Shikshak Bharti 2024-25) in government schools for the academic session 2024-25. This recruitment aims to ensure smooth academic operations in schools where regular teachers are unavailable. Most schools have already arranged guest teachers through the school preference selection process. However, new guidelines have been issued to fill vacancies arising from December onwards.
Key Highlights of the Atithi Shikshak New Guidelines:
1. Priority for Previous Guest Teachers
If an applicant has previously worked as a guest teacher during the last academic session for a vacant post, and their name appears in the block panel merit list, they will be prioritized for reappointment in the same school for the same subject.
2. Merit-Based Invitation
The Shala Prabhari (School In-Charge) will contact applicants from the block merit panel list using the phone numbers provided. Invitations will be extended based on merit order. Any consent or refusal by the applicant must be recorded on the portal with valid reasons.
3. Joining and Honorarium
Once a guest teacher is invited and joins the school, their joining details must be entered into the portal on the same day. Payments for the honorarium will be processed based on the joining date recorded on the portal.
4. Strict Adherence to Merit Panel
The Shala Prabhari must strictly invite candidates from the block panel merit list. Any irregularities in the invitation process will lead to strict action against the Sankul Prabhari (Cluster Principal) or Shala Prabhari.
5. Vacancy Approval for MP Govt Atithi Shikshak Bharti 2024-25
Vacancies entered by the Sankul Prabhari and Shala Prabhari will be approved daily at the state level on working days. Once approved, the Shala Prabhari will invite guest teachers for the sanctioned vacancies.
6. Document Verification
The Shala Prabhari will verify the documents submitted by invited candidates. If discrepancies are found between the documents and the information recorded in the scorecard, the candidate’s eligibility for the guest teacher position will be canceled.
7. Portal Guidance Manual
A help manual is attached with the order to guide the Shala Prabhari in performing all actions on the portal.
