NEET Result 2024: Results Declared, Samit Kumar Saini and Devesh Top, Cutoff Increased
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NEET 2024 results on June 4. According to reports, Samit Kumar Saini and Devesh Joshi from Jaipur have topped the exam. This year, 13.16 lakh students passed the NEET exam.
NEET UG Result 2024 Declared:
Great news for medical aspirants! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET 2024 results today, June 4. As per Times Now, Jaipur’s Samit Kumar Saini and Devesh Joshi have topped the exam. A total of 13.16 lakh students have passed NEET this year. The results are available on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. Candidates need their application number and password to check their results. To pass the NEET UG exam, students need at least 50 percent marks. The NTA has also released the NEET UG cutoff for 2024, which has increased for all categories.

This year, 14 female candidates have secured rank 1, while 53 male candidates achieved the same rank, totaling 67 top-ranking students.
NEET UG 2024 Delhi Toppers:
According to HT reports, Divyanshu and Sujoy Dutta are the toppers from Delhi, both scoring 99.997129 percentile. Mridul Manya Anand and Lakshya also topped the OBC – (NCL) category in Delhi with the same percentile.
NEET Result 2024 Cutoff Increase:
The cutoff scores have increased across all categories. For example, the cutoff percentile for UR/EWS is now 50th percentile with a score range of 720-164. OBC, SC, and ST categories have a cutoff percentile of 40th, with scores ranging from 163 to 129.

NTA announced the results on their social media platform, X, urging candidates to check their scores on the official website and ensure their scorecards include their photo and barcode.

NEET Result 2024 Marking Scheme and Reservation Criteria:
Candidates receive four marks for each correct answer and lose one mark for incorrect answers. No marks are given for unanswered questions. Reservation criteria include 15% seats for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 5% horizontal reservation for differently-abled candidates across all categories.
