Talented students studying in government schools in the state will receive tablets. A district-wise and class-wise list has been issued, detailing that 55,727 students will receive tablets. In the academic session of 2022, 27,866 tablets will be given to students of the 8th, 10th, and 12th grades, and another 27,866 tablets will be distributed in 2023. Information has been requested for the distribution of tablets to talented students over the past two years. The state’s cutoff has been received, and reports have been requested from CBOs. Once these reports are received, the list of eligible students from each district will be sent to the directorate.
On May 27, Sunita Chawla, Deputy Director of the Education Directorate, issued orders and provided all district DEOs with the list, enabling them to verify the talented students in their respective districts for both sessions. The verification report must be sent to the directorate within seven days, after which further action will be taken.
